2001 Sportage with no power

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but we have replaced the fuel filter, MAF-- which is what the code said-- the cats, and still no power. The timing belt was looked at and is on the marks. I am mostly repeating what I hear my hubby and the mechanics say, so if the terms aren't right, sorry. What else should we look at? I can't go up hill. Thanks!

Re: 2001 Sportage with no power

THis post shows as your first...was the subject opened with another author? Anyway, please describe symptoms a little more...and post the solution if already done...as it seems you paid attention to all critical items..is this a manual/auto, 2WD, 4WD....? Is the Checjk Engine light ON? Were any codes read?

Smile Re: 2001 Sportage with no power

While looking for the answer to my starting problem I came across this post, although it was ages ago, it might help someone to know that I had a similar problem a few months ago and after changing both cats, I found almost by accident, that the hood liner was sagging and choking of the air intake.
