My 07 tahoo ltz I can hear a whining sound in the speakers of the radio. Sometime It wont do it but it has gotten worse and now it does it all the time. It will stop for a little bit if you turn the radio off but like it you hit a bump in the road or turn the passenger side blinker on it would start back. I think its coming from the little speaker up by the windshield but not 100% sure. I am sure its comeing from my radio though anyone have any suggestions or help would be greatly appriciated this thing is starting to drive me crazy.

Quote:
Remove two screws by door handle. Use a thin flat forked tool to loosen the panel from the plastic 'Christmas trees'. They are spaced about six inches apart. Once loose, lift up to remove, (it comes out easily) so be careful you don't break the speaker connection.

these speakers do not go to ground ...ground return on speakers is a no no .... I suspect that the radio /amplifier is in need of repair... if this is an aftermarket radio then anything is possible as most are not installed properly |
