OK. Well I have never used a VAFC....so Im not too familiar on all of the features. But if its nothing more than a vtec controller and an air flow converter.....why wouldn't you just buy a SAFC if your wanting to go the piggyback route? Obviously the vtec feature on the VAFC is no good to you. Unless you have a Honda boat-anchor motor in your car.

i know i wanted to buy a safc but my bro has a vafc.. so i'm saying if they fit then i'll save myself $300.

I know the vtec control is not good, but does that effect the fuel control?

It should work fine I would think. I have never heard of anyone else trying to do this but if you have one why not try it out.

Re: apexi vetic air fuel (vaf) contorller on gsx

i have done this temporarily, on a 1g i had. Works fine , just make sure you cross reference the wiring on the vafc to the dsm ecu ... and do not use the rpm activated switch wire ... and make sure you zero out the vtec feature , becuase at a certain rpm that you set the rpm activated switch to it will slightly change your a/f.
