98 Cav Rad Inlet Pipe

I have disconnected the metal coolant bypass pipe on my 98 2.2l Cavy but can't get it out. i have tried getting the alternator/serp belt out to no avail and it seems the motor mount arms are also in the way. How the heck do you get this pipe out? Any help appreciated....

Problem resolved. I had to remove the alternator completely.
