07 Silverado Transmission Pan

I am servicing my transmission on a 07 Silverado 1500 classic, 4WD, Crew Cab. I am stuck at trying to remove the oil pan. What is the trick there? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

what is in the way blocking the removal ? the shifting cable support on my silverado 1500 has torx screws that need removal so that the pan can come down ..

on your 07 do you have a drain plug? my tranny they used permenent lock tight on it I had to remove the pan then use a torch to heat the drain plug until it glowed and then with difficulty I removed it. after that is was a very simple job with no spilling if your careful..
