Anti theft unlock code?

I own a 2000 LS V6. I just installed a used factory replacement radio I purchased on ebay. Radio works, but seems to have activated my anti-theft, will not turn over, fob doesnt work, windows dont work, no lights,,, is there an unlock code? and how does this get entered?

Re: Anti theft unlock code?

That's odd. There's no unlock code that cause the problems you're experiencing. The unlock code would be associated only with the head unit and would not affect the windows, starting, remote keyless entry, etc. Sounds like you blew a fuse for the driver door module, body control module, Generic Electronic Module (GEM) or similar.

Great! Did you note which fuse was blown and what is on that circuit to determine if it could have been related to the radio install, or if this is something that could leave you stranded later? You may want to.
