Si motor with hf manifold?

I have a crx HF and i got a si motor in it 2 weeks ago.But the guy that did he swap put he HF intake manifold back on instead of the si intake manifold he said there were to much wiring problems.I wanna know if this is what is restricting all of my HP becouse it boggs out a little after 40 mph and i almost feels like my stock HF.

correct me if im wrong, but I was under the impresson that the HF had mpfi ... and if that is the case I dont think its something with the intake manifold.

But the HF throthle body is about an inch in diameter as oposed to the si the si is twice as big.Plus the Hf has small ass injectors for high fuel economy purposes.

dood that sounds like your old motor has DPFI if the guy says its too much wiring problems. cause the HF and the Si have the same wire harness. shoulda been a straight swap. i wouldnt pay him until he fixes it, cause if it is a DPFI manifold, you are definitely choking the motor.

my hf came with MPFI stock.I THINK tHE MECANINC was an idiot or was to lazy.I dont know why it bogs out.Its probably becouse that manifold of he HF is to restrictive and doesnt allow enough air and fuel into the engine.Becouse the HF motor was a 1.5 and my current motor is a 1.6
