How much boost?
How much boost can my 91 Cvic HB SI hold? All I have is a mugen chip, intake, gutted cat/exhaust. What PSI could I run safely?

well if you havent done anything with the internals. about 7-8 psi is your limit. any higher and you'll start breaking shit inside.

yeah, the stock ZC rods can only handle ABOUT 200hp. So the psi would have to be relatively low to stay below the 200hp. you can do all you want to an engine, but if you dont upgrade your internals, the turbo will blow your engine up in no time. (unles you stay low boost 6-7-8 psi)

yeah, i wouldn't go any higher than 9psi, and I'd only go that high if I was at the track. Street driving I'd go no higher than 7-8psi.

So to turn the boost up I have to upgrade my rods? I was told I just needed to get low compression pistons.
