2001 E320 Wagon
Hello all,
I was looking today one of those MB for sale. It have slight deer damage to the front right & both passenger side doors, front right side light is broken, only cosmetic that I saw today. Took for test drive and wasn't pooling to any side, it was driving straight. Brakes are excellent. I opened the hood and didn't see anything damaged inside, just that I already described here. It has about 133K on clock. I think it's V6 engine. Not bad looking car, beside that damage to the both passenger side doors, front right over the wheel (I forgot the name) and broken light, slightly bent hood on right side. What do you guys think about this car?? What can I expect to change in future?? At how many miles do I need to take care about anything?? I mean something like belt, water pump, etc.... how often to change oil & filter?? What about differential oil?? Transmission?? etc... Do I need to take this car to oil change to dealer or can I do this on my own, like I do on all of my vehicles?? This guy told me he is changing only synthetic oil & he was doing by dealer every 10K. How good those cars are?? Do you guys have any issues with this year?? Is this engine from chrysler or is it german made?? How satisfied are you guys with your MB with this year & type?? I mean if you guys know anything about those type of vehicle, please let me know what can I expect if I buy this car. If I go for another test drive, is it anything else I need to pay attention to?? I know that no one can't predict exactly what is going to happen, of course, but, just some usual stuff what's going on with this type of vehicle. I really liked the car and I think that I can fix this on my own, those damage to me seems only cosmetic, so I am pretty much handy and can take care about some stuff on my own. Thanks in advance, very sincerely, Dino |
