2000 Venture wiper mount question

Hello,

I have a 2000 Venture where the bracket that holds the wipers up in the middle of the back of the engine has been torn by the wiper assembly ripping the metal from the bolt on the right that holds it up. I went to a local Chevy dealer and they said there is nothing that can be done. I refuse to accept that answer. Is that bracket replaceable? I have pictures if I can post those.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Anything is possible, do you have a welder?

Mike,
I'm sure most recycle yards will have a Venture with the part you need. Let your fingers do the walking.

I thought of that but I would think it would help if I had a name for the part. It looks it is part of the frame from what I can tell.

lesterl may have a good point in his post.

Is the bracket you talk about welded to the firewall?

Maybe show us the pix you said you could post.
