2001 ford ranger electrical problem, help me please
My windshield wipers, speedometer, odometer, dome light all stopped working at the same time. I tried a new Motor for the windshield wipers and its not the problem. all the fuses are good. i tried a new multi function switch on the steering wheel and its not the problem. this ever happen to anyone, or anyone know whats wrong?

Electrical problems on cars are always duzzy to troubleshoot. I suggest that you get yourself a Haynes or Chilton Ford Ranger Repair Manual and the last chapter I believe shows a series of schematic diagrams which may aid you in tracking the cause of the problem.

you might want to have a diagnostic tool hooked to your truck. If the rangers have a body control module like the explorers do, it may have gone out. if it has gone out a diagnostic tool will not communicate with it.
