Overheated
Greetings,
I have a 1989 buick lesabre 3.8 fwd. I was driving on the highway when the temp light come on seconds later it died. Their was not steam or smoke, it just cut off and will not start even after sitting for a couple of hours. I checked the oil stick no antifreez in it. I think the water pump might have gone out cause it was rattling. But the main issue is it will not start. Any ideals? thanks |

Re: Overheated
I would first check for spark & fuel pressure. Were you low on coolant?
