Unhappy power steering issues on 02 ss convertible

my convertible ss has an issue with leaks in the power steering system ever since i replaced the pump. i dont have a clue where its coming from and i checked all the hose connections. please help!!!

does it leave dropplets of fluid? If it does then its probably your rack and pinion, well maybe you just need to repack the boot. The boot is probably cracked and it leaks. That's my guess.

the only thing i can tell is that its leaking a large amount of fluid. when i fill it up and drive it a little it empties almost completely

Ok, what you can do is fill it up, with the car running have someone move the steering wheel. Once that is going you check where the leak is coming from. It might be the hose that comes from the resivoir down to the rack. That happened on mine. But mine is a v6... much easier to see, in your case you might have to crawl underneath.
