98 E430 Wierd Electrical Problem

This is driving me crazy. Randomly, electrical things stop working (power windows & seats, power sunroom, etc.) at different times. If I remove the fuse for whatever circuit stopped working and put the same one back in, everything on that circuit will then work fine (at least for a few days). Here's another odd thing, pulling the fuse out and putting it back in only works if the key ignition is on. Disconnecting the battery terminal and reconnecting it also fixes the problem. I have tried a brand new battery and the problem still came back. Benz mechanic has no idea. Help!

tell your mercedes tech that the left or the right rear window motor is shorting out the can bus.... if he is a good MB tech he will know what i mean.
