Import Nights TV - INTV

I have finally got my TV Show started. Import Nights TV is your source for Sport Compact How-to's and Reviews. Check out the first episode at http://importnightstv.com . Our goal is to show you in our how-to's exactly how to do things on your car bolt by bolt. None of this explaining and telling you to take parts off. We actually show you how to do it. Check it out and let us know what you think. If you have any suggestions, comments or questions you can email us at [email protected]

Re: Import Nights TV - INTV

Why did you guys pull the motor to do a head gasket? You can change the gasket with the motor in the car.

Re: Import Nights TV - INTV

We did that originally, and had the head machined, but the headgasket blew within 2 minutes of firing up the motor. Come to find out the water pump fins were spinning freely on the shaft so no coolant flow and the block was warped (double wammy). The person that owned it ran the motor with a blown headgasket for a few months supposedly. Block was toast. We pulled the motor and replaced it with another d15. We also pulled the whole thing cause the main input shaft bearing on the transmission was making some noise.

Re: Import Nights TV - INTV

Number 2 should be this weekend hopefully. Gonna try to get one episode at least every 2 weeks if not every week. Episode 2 will be a b18a1 build - headgasket, timing belt, basic stuff. We have the how-to section of it recorded, just have to film the talk show parts and cut and edit.
