I have a complete VG35 from exhaust to intake, includes wiring harness. 11,000 miles runs excellent. Was backed with a 6 speed transmission. (Have it for sale too.)

Question Re: vq35 motor for sale?

while on the topic I am looking for a VQ35DE (stock 350Z engine) bare block to build into a high HP engine to drop into my Z.

If anyone knows where i can find one, how much one costs, or if there is a better alternative to the VQ35DE block please e-mail me.

Re: vq35 motor for sale?

Not sure, but if anyone is looking for a VQ35, then give Greg a call at www.injectedperformance.com He's getting an AEBS sleeved block with full motor build, so his motor will be available soon (only has 2300 miles on it).

Re: vq35 motor for sale?

If one is willing to settle, they can get an older VQ35 from a Pathfinder. The 2001 Pathfinder was the first US vehicle to get the 3.5L. It made 240hp, but getting up to 350Z power levels shouldn't be too hard.

Ya but they will be very expensive. Its so much cheapier to purchase a engine/trans from the junk yard, or from someone doing an entire rebuild

yea true...but is there really that many 350z sitting in a junk yard? I mean I live in california, and everyday i see about 30 350z ask im driving around in the freeway, but none so far in any junkyard. Just a joke, but do you guys think its possible to put a RB20 in there or a 2JZ? Just a dumb weird silly question =D I think its possible, but I dunno I never seen a RB20 myself so, but Im pretty sure the 2JZ will fit very snugly.

Re: vq35 motor for sale?

ive seen an sr20 in a 350z. it was an insane amount of fabrication, but they dropped it in. it was the feature car on the cover of a mag.
