Ticking After Engine Warms Up

I have a 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis 4.6 SOHC, that is ticking after it warms up. There is no other symptoms. The ticking is coming from the top passenger side of the engine, mainly from the injectors. Using a stethoscope the sound is loudest right on each injector. The ticking is also in sync with the injectors. The drivers side also ticks but nowhere near as loud as the passenger side. I know that injectors do tick slightly but this ticking can be heard 30 feet away from the car with the hood down. Do I have bad injectors or is there something I'm missing? As I said, when the car is cold you don't hear any ticking.
