Smile International Scout 4X4..Dirty, Rusty and neglected

Here is another old build up I recently took out of storage. It was built from an original issue ERTL blueprinter kit. I used some wheels from an Aoshima HiLux and tyres from the Monogram spares box... along with a little mud and rust.
I still need to add some tail lights.
Regards, Dan

Now that kicks ass!!! I love these kind of builds - especially cause it is a 4-wheeler! Great job on the whole aged look!

Beautiful work. If you know scouts, then you know they are prone to rust. Though, it is still the coolest american 4x4 ever made.

A friend of mine has a Scout up at his cabin that still gets used for off-road adventures. Has a Ford 289 HiPo installed with dual posi-trac differentials. That thing is a beast.

Nicely done. Just the way a Scout should look.

Very nice project, I really like the style!

I drove a four door LWB International Scout in the USA and liked it a lot.
Waiting to see this one finished!
