I saw it finally a coupla weeks ago, what a load of crap...should've seen TombRaider.
SOME of the cars were cool, the Supra and the Eclipse looked way overdone and the
Skyline was easily the coolest car in the movie but it didnt race damnit.
Did anyone get that line "It's Got a full Motec exhaust system.."????
Motec makes "Engine Management Systems" in Austrailia I believe LOL.
However, the first thing I did when I exited the movie carpark was race a GSR lancer
whos driver also saw the movie.
Why was the RX7 only seen once????

I saw it last week as well. I thought it was real fun if you don't take it too seriously. If you want accuracy then the movie would need to include all the maiming/killing and grief that results from speeding on public roads.

A mate saw Tomb Raider and thought it was crap so you might as well see a crap movie about cars than anything else.

I think the line in the movie was supposed to be "It's Got a full Motec, (and), exhaust system.."???? with a comma inserted but the pause for the comma would've been shortened to try to maintain the tempo.

After the movie I was having a good laugh at those guys who couldn't contain themselves while driving home. Hope they don't take anyone with them when they eventually crash.

Its a cool film, the best and only one of its kind, for modded cars anyway. Hope to see more of it It doesnt half give you ideas though. You go home from watching it, wanting to install 'Nitrous' or just race anyone whos beside you going home.

All in all, sound film.

definitly better than tomb raider. You did the right thing by not going to tomb raider WORST MOVIE EVER.

It's an Australian movie called 'IN THE RED' and came out August 2nd. Doesn't look as if they are giving a release date for it in the USA though.

What's that I see? A turbocharged Nissan 200SX? Woohoo! Actually a 240SX to us Americans, but it's got a turbo, so hmm? Must be a SR20!

Since someone mentioned Aussie car flics......
about 15-20 years ago (before even the first Mad Max) was a movie called "Running on Empty".
It's another street racing movie but from the muscle car era - Chevs, GTHO Phase III (Shaker) Falcons and XU-1 Toranas. Check it out if your video store has a copy coz this is one you can take seriously!
