fuck this car i need to fix and sell 89 300e
 THE CAR HAS BEEN A PROBLEM SINCE DAY ONE. I BELIEVE IT HAS A SHORT IN THE DASH. THE FUEL GAUGE HAS BEEN ACTING UP WHEN IT GET LOW ON FUEL. IT WAS ALL OF THE TIME. WHEN I PUSHED THE GAS THE GAUGE WENT DOWN THEN IT WOULD EVEN OUT. THE STEREO HAS BEEN REPLACED THAT WAS BEFORE IT WAS BOUGHT. IT WILL CRACKLE AN IF YOU HIT THE DASH ABOVE THE RADIO IT WILL GO AWAY. THE FUEL PUMPS ARE BRAND NEW AND THE RELAY IS NEW. I USED THE MITCHELL MANUAL TO TROUBLESHOOT THE PROBLEM AND THEY STILL DON'T WORK. THE SHORT MIGHT BE PART OF WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT I DO NOT KNOW.

bro i feel you
except i got the 300TD a 85 and belive me the only reason im keeping it is b/c of the engine it is bullet proof and purrs i love it its fun to drive but wont pass inspection worth beans hopw everything works out

I have done a lot of auto electrical work and love to help out nice people who have problems.
I suspect you have more than an electrical problem though.
