Replacing back brake shoes

Hello everyone, I am going to attempt to replace my shoes on the rear brake drums. I have already replaced my front brakes with no problem. I have a 98 lumina with 63,000 miles on it. I have taken off the rear wheels off but do not know what else i need to do. What is all required and watched out for when breaking into the drums. My ears are wide open

Re: Replacing back brake shoes

just match the shoes up and usualley the long shoe go's to the back but now days there makeing the shoes the same size. but try this take one side off at a time and you cant figure it out look at other side to put them back on so you have to have both wheels off the ground to do this like i'm telling you. also put you a new hardwhere kit on them then no problems check wheel cyls. to. ok one more think you can see where there rubbing on backing plate put a little grease on all those contacks.good luck. let me know if you have any problems.you shouldn't have no problems if you do it like this..again good luck..
