short ram or cold air

Hey guys,

what is the difference between short ram and cold air intakes and which are better? I have heard cai, but I am not sure whgat good a short ram is, i dont know anyone with one....

Come on man. Obviously you have a comp. so what is the problem? I understand that forums sites are for help but this is getting rediculous. Try searching first. This is one of the most easily answered questions.

Cold air= sucks cool air from outside the engine bay
Short ram gets hot air from inside the engine bay

What's better? You do the math

cold air=MAYBE about 2 more hp then the SRI. on a b-series motor, its not gonna matter much, jus depends which u prefer. im jus bumping my rating tho . j/k

Personally I went short ram cause its cheaper and I didnt wanna have to worry about sucking water up through the CAI.

I feel like I have more low end power and torque with it ... its a step up from a CAI .. but a CAI apparently will give you more of a gain.
