I thought I sold the wheels but the dumb sucker was a dead beat so I relisted and sold them today for $450. As for the car I had it sold 2day but on the way to work I lost compression in cylinder 2. running 15lbs. so this car and i were meant to be. i will keep it forever because it likes me I guess. You know of anyone with a sohc motor? |

Re: 89 CRX Body kit 19 inch Wheels F/S
Not around you, but they aren't that hard to find.. use the B2 block that you have, toss a Z6 or Y8 head on it, and don't tell Frodo if you pick up the whole motor... he'll hate you.
dude has encountered 3 deadbeats looking for a motor... if you get one first try, he'll probably hate you for life... or offer to buy it off you. The B2 head is the same thing as the A6 head, but if you wanna put Si cam in it, you'll need either a adjustable cam gear, or a Crank pulley (timing) from the Si as well... which means alot of work, the crank snouts are diff sizes. quick swaps, you could either do the ZC swap, what i'm doing, or mini-me it, or do a Vtec swap and run the stock PM6 ECU w/ a RPM activator switch for the Vtec... don't complain when you figure out that you're running way lean in Vtec tho. (To do this right also requires a second fuel pressure regulator and an electronic valve... so that you get enough fuel in Vtec, you set the second pressure regulator higher than the first, and the electronic valve to change the line so the fuel coming from the first pressure regulator will run into the second one and get stopped, allowing more pressure in the rail.) (Or you can get an electronic two-step FPR, and control it from the RPM switch as well) You could also just go OBD-1 for Vtec, and stop whining about emissions laws (not that you were, but it pisses me off when ppl do.) |

Aye, I will..especially now that I realize that the y7 I sold a couple months ago is the same short block as the y8.
