Question How much below MSRP can I expect.....

to be able to cut a deal at a BMW dealership in the US on a 3-series sedan, 325i or 330i.

Anyone who can pass along what kind of deals they got would be nice. Also I would like to know this for ON the lot cars vs. Ordered from the factory. And yes I know that they will most likely make the best deal on an unpopular color/options package that has been sitting on the lot for 6 months.

I hope to purchase a 3 series this summer and I have never dealt with BMW dealerships before. Is there so much demand for BMWs that dealers essentially expect MSRP or is it possible after enough of the usual car dealer to car buyer shananagins(sp?), to get say 3% or 5% or more of a price reduction?

Or are they no different than your typical Ford, GM, honda, etc....dealership in these respects.

Plus I am in the midwest if the region of the county has anything to do with it.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Purchase

I just purchased a 2003 325I and paid $250 over invoice (according to AAA -- that's where I got the invoice price from) the dealer showed the price I paid at invoice on his paperwork; there was a $250 discrepancy.

Hope that helps,

I have the same question....anyone else? BMWNOZ did you mean over invoice or over MSRP? I'm in Buffalo and looking to get a 325i.

The price I paid was $250 over invoice not MSRP. This was a car on the lot, not a special order.

500. over

We are placing our order soon for a 03 325 wagon. we got 500. over invoice from Adam at Steve Thomas BMW in Camarillo Ca. He is very straight forward and honest. We are leasing for 3 years with money factor at .00150. Residual is 62%. No ad fees only 30. dealer prep. You can put up to 9 security deposits down to lower money factor by.0001 for each deposit of $400. which you get back at lease end.
