What are your Accord Times?

What kind of times are you all running in your accords? I'm pretty close to getting an H22 from japan, but I wanna make sure it will be fast enough. I've ran 10.4 in the 1/8 in my accord ex. Should i spend the cash and get an h22 or buy a little hatchback civic and put a Gsr engine in it?

More than anything else, it depends on what you want the car for. An accord with an H22 and a few other mods i/h/e is a fast little grocery getter with trunk space and a real back seat. The civic/gsr combo would be a faster car but you loose the even handedness of the accord, or are you planning to keep the Accord in which case I would go for the Civic/gsr, at least if that breaks down/throws a rod/etc you'll have trasportation

oh yeah, prolly 16s

So which engine do you have? Is it the JDM h22a out of the prelude type S (220 hp) or like the euro accord sir? I was just going to get the JDM H22a that is 200 hp. I don't know whether it is going to be fast enough for me. I know where I can get a 94 civ hb for under a thousand and then maybe but in a ls with a vtec head. Those are quick.

I don't want to spend over $4000. and I'm not selling the accord.

a decent H22, JDM or USDM regardless, should cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $1800-$2200 with everything. Install costs vary wildly
