Progress Pics of my NSX (56K beware!!!)
Here are some progress pictures of an NSX im working on. the first three pictures hopefully show you how i attached the mirrors to the body using plastic rod. i first CA glued the mirrors into position, then i drilled holes from the inside of the car through the mirror. i snapped the mirrors off and sanded the CA glue smooth on the body and the base of the mirrors. i then inserted a small plastic rod that will hold the mirror in perfect placement even after painting the body. i learned about doing stuff like this from this very forum
. hope it makes senseto help me to paint parts in a timely fashion, i place parts according to color into this little sewing organizer i got from the craft store for $2. i sanded off the washer jets to make it easier to polish later... not sure how im gonna put them back yet. but i hate not being able to polish around them so i cut them off for now. i also put some Mr. Surfacer on the sanded parts to make them smooth. here is a pic of the enging after painting it using a bunch of alcad finally, here is a pic of the suspension dry fit onto the chassis. questions, comments, suggestions are always welcome. thanks! Rob |

Ever consider making it look like the NSX in F&F2 the ludacris drives?
that thing is sweet, maybe yours will be too! |

While you have all your Alclad out, remember the whole chassis is aluminum, too.
Nice work so far...
