Since I bought this car about 4 years ago, the daytime run lights (headlights) stay on about all the time. I figured that the indicator in the dash was staying dark all the time making the headlights think it was dark outside, So I did clean the eye on top of the dash and they went off until dawn, which fixed my problem for awhile.
But after a few months it started doing it again (probaly need cleaned again) But, I don't like the headlights on automatically, I'd rather just switch them on myself when I need them. Anyone have any tips on how to disable the automatic part of the system, so I can just turn on manually? I've read thru 10 pages of content on this site trying to find a answer, but haven't managed to cure it just yet. TIA |

Re: Daytime run lights (95' Cutlass Supreme)
This is the only place to find DRL info.
I dont remember if they have your specific model but its worth checking out. http://www.lightsout.org/disable.html

Re: Daytime run lights (95' Cutlass Supreme)
I found that site yesterday, waiting for the weather to clear up to check for my fuses under the hood.
Thanks anyway though. |
