fuse probs with 95 olds 88

Hi, my olds died on me the other day, after messing with it for a while we noticed that when we took out the 60amp fuse from under the hood fuse panel it would start. the door alarm goes off when the door is opened with or without the key in the ignition, the side mirror doesnt work and the door locks lock and unlock by themselves, but shes running. does anyone know what this fuse runs to and why the car will start and run without it? we have been told that it may have been a short in the anti-theft but that still doesnt explain why it started with OUT the fuse and why the locks etc are acting up...any help would be great...

Re: fuse probs with 95 olds 88

we put the fuse back in and she started up a few times but then did the same thing. it will turn over but the motor rolls really fast without starting, all the dash lights, radio etc work but the fuel gauge when i try and start it jumps way up over full. with the fuse out she will start everytime. the fuse was under the hood and labeled lgt ( i think).
