93 euro turn signal failure

HELP!!!

My turn signal fuse keeps blowing. No idea why.
Signals were failing periodically leading up to them failing permanently. Checked and replaced fuse this morning and blew immediately. The hazard lights function correctly and it indicates this in the dash. All bulbs also function properly. Could it be my flasher unit under the dash that is causing this? Is it not a type of relay? Wonder if anyone else has faced this problem before or knows a solution or what I can look into? I read forward into the turn signal/multifunction control wand being the problem, but i'm having no other indicative problems that this unit is malfunctioning.

Re: 93 euro turn signal failure

Nevermind, figured out today that it was in fact the relay located at the base of the steering column. $10 and a dislocated elbow (j/k) and it's good as new!
