Re: electical problem???

Sounds electrical alright. Start with the battery, make sure you have a good one.

Re: electical problem???

Model Year?

The BCM should be on the back side of the junction block under the left side of the dash. It's in the mix but, as stated, look at the battery first. Make sure it is fully charged and the posts are shinny clean and tight. Car computers are sensitive to weak batteries. Make sure the battery ground connection to the frame is clean and tight.

EDIT - should be left side of the dash.

Glad you got the first problem fixed. A new clockspring wiring cable in the steering column/steering wheel should take care of the the other 2 problems. It allows circuits inside the steering wheel, which of course turns. I would have the dealer do it. They may do it for free, there is a recall on it.

Might not fix anything but go under the hood in fuse center and find the IOD fuse and pull for a couple minutes and see if anything happens . If the horn and cruise worked before the battery change ok its probably not a clockspring .

Re: electical problem???

I have a 98 dodge caravan with an electrical problem or something with the Instrument guages going dead then returning to normal, I know it's not a fuse. Can someone tell me could it be a ground wire or what? On very Hot days especially it seems to go out often......Please Help.
