Moaning noise (Ghost wants out)
Hi,
My 97 K1500 has a moaning noise in the steering column right at the steering wheel when I turn. I'm cautious about spraying lubricant in there because of the air bag. I'm also cautious about pulling the thing apart also because of the air bag. Anyone have ideas? Thanks, Bob B

Most likley the intermediate shaft needs to be lubed. Special GM lube.
