vtec for sale

Hey guys,
It's been a while since I've been on here. Anyway, I have a D16y6 head in perfect condition from a del sol for sale...$250. I also have the bottom end (apart was gonna rebuild) for 150. That is block, crank, rods, pistons, oil pump, water pump, everything. So, you can get everything for $400, but I'm willing to makeyou a deal...$300 takes it all. I'm in northwest FL, Pensacola to be exact. Email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

Yea, the motor your talking about (d16y7) is the dx motor i believe and it has no vtec. Unless your talking about the d16y8 that has vtec and is out of the 96-00 ex's!

actually i believe that engine to be the v-tec-"e" it is the economical v-tec the produces less hp than a d16a6......in other words it is an engine that a ricer would buy just to say he has a v-tec

ok, well, it must be the y8. Reason I said y6 was because I had the d16a6 and i thought it was the same with the exception of the letter. Oops. Anyway, vtec out of a del sol, regardless of what the letters are. I'm selling it for a friend who sold his hatch he was gonna put it in.

Slammed:
Bottom end is taken apart but the head is still completely assembled, just removed from the block. Everything is there. Asking $250 for the head or $300 for all of it. If you just want the block $150 fo it. Let me know. Oh yeah, northwest FL is where it would ship from.

i need more info before I can tell you that. First of all, do you want everything or just the head or just the bottom end? Secondly, does anyone know the weights of these pieces? I'm sure I can weigh the head and I'm assuming it's around 40lbs. My zip code is 32570. If you are looking at just the head and my assumption is in the ballpark, shippingwould be somewhere between $15-$25 ground and up from there.
