Where to buy a TCC Solenoid
I was wondering if anyone knew where to buy a TCC solenoid for a 96 Geo tracker to fix the p0740 check engine code. my vin is 2cnbj1866t6935745. i would prefer somewhere in baltimore, maryland that i could pick up in person but if that is not possible i am willing to order it online. thank you

Is this a "dealer only" part that's not carried by your local auto part store? If you are looking for a used part try the local salvage yard. They can do a nationwide computer search of affilliated yards and find one.

From what I understand it's a dealer only part but the dealer discontinued it so I would like to find an aftermarket solution but I have no idea what to look for.

The part is not discontinued. Part number is 96040316 valve tcc solenoid. We have two in stock at dealership I work at. Your local chevy dealer should be able to order it for you.......
