Exclamation car stereo installation= transmission trouble. Can anyone help?

I recently installes a sony head deck into my vr berlina wagon ans my transmission started playing up straight away blowing fuses and tripping it into fail safe mode. Does anyone know what would be causing this and how to fix it?
