In the morning I will be changing the valve cover gasket and the transmission mount (between transmission and cross brace) on my 89 cherokee laeredo 4ltr in line six 4wd. Any helpful tips, Im sure It will be ok but any comments are always appreiciated.

If you have a good strong floor jack you should be fine with the tranny mount, just a tight spot. The valve cover, just make sure that you don't get any of the gacket material in the engine, also I would HIGHLY recommend getting a rubber gasket, versuses the cork gasket most places sell cheap. Remember , RVT form - a - gasket, it not to be used as a gasket, just to help seal. ( use sparingly) and tighten your bolts up evenly.

Thanks brother! I ordered a rubber one, a friend of mine said hes tried rubber, silicone and cork and the rubber one is the only one that lasted.
