Steering Boot
I was changing the oil this weekend, and while I was under the truck, I noticed that the boot right on top of the steering gear box is torn. I have also noticed lately that the truck just seems overall a bit 'loose'.
I have an appointment Thursday, and I'm hoping it's going to be covered by warranty. The service guy at the dealership wouldn't say if the steering gear boot is covered under warranty without looking at the truck first. My questions are: Should the boot, and any related damage (if any) be covered under warranty? Anything else I should inspect, look at, or ask questions about when I take it in to the service department? Thanks! 2001 Rodeo LS, 3.2L V6 57,300 miles. |

Re: Steering Boot
I think that is just a dust cover
