half open window rattle

My 91 Civic HB driver-door glass rattles when half open or more. I found a TSB number & date (91-010, 4/12/91) on my old AllDATA cd for this condition but no repair info was given. Anyone know about this & recommend a fix? Thanks!

Here's an idea. What I've seen alot is people who have had to replace their windows fro whatever reason........car got broken into being the most common.

For whatever reason, most of the time the replacement piece of glass is half as thick as the stock glass which of course causes somewhat of a problem.

This may not be true in your case, but I've seen this happen to some people and they wonder what the problem is.....which is why I will always pay hte extra $50 for the stock Honda glass or get it from a junkyard.

It's original glass. There's a TSB out there showing how Honda recommends fixing this apparently common problem with the door glass & before attempting to fix it myself I'd like to see what their recommended fix is. The TSB I saw long ago showed a diaghram on how to repair it. Thanks for your help, though!

I checked the bulletin out at work today. Its for Accords & Preludes.
I also asked the shop foreman, he said hit the middle of the window with a hammer. No window No rattle
