Whats Your MPG? golf mk3 gti

i think im running rich, ive dun the air filter, oil change, & fuel system cleaner
however im still running around 24 mpg on average! thats driving nicely!
i should be around 30 i think?

any ideas?

ive got an MK3 GTI VR6 and I get about 23 mpg. i wasnt sure if yours was a 2.0 or 2.8 though. Hope this helps.
