Porsche Boxster 987

Well, here is the only model that I got for the past few months- the Kyosho Porsche Boxster. Price paid~ $49.99(Yay)! It's a pretty nice model, IMO....

Boxster with Honda S2000

P.S. sorry for the weird photo sizes, I had some trouble with my photobucket account lol

Yep, the roof does come separately (unfortunately). You simply leave it on or take it off...... besides that this thing is still quite detailed though, there are 2 more buttons on the rear side for easy opening of rear trunk and spoiler, and the interior is great as we expect from any Kyosho. I think the bottom line is, anyone who likes Porsches (which I think you do) can't go wrong with this model!

G-man, it is not a cloth top, I wish it was though. ^_^

Re: Porsche Boxster 987

Simply beautiful! Although, its kinda lame that they did not actually make it a working soft top. The only model that I am aware of that actually has a functioning soft top is the Maisto BMW (E36) 325i convertible.

Yeah, it would be great if they made it a working soft top. But hey, for the price I paid for this model, I am not complaining It is quite amazing that Maisto would include a softtop though, considering the prices they sell their models for.
The Mercedes SL 500 by Minichamps is the only other model that has a good working softtop that I can think of, but it also costs something like $100~120 so yeah.....

Christmas must be the time of year for you with all the goodies you are getting (lucky you). Silver is a very nice color for this car indeed, but I think the blue one coming soon is also very cool.... I got mine from sportcraftcars.com, you?
