Re: the in dash dvd head unit?

i had a Kenwood KVT-911 TV/DVD in my car before it was stolen. It was nice and worked well. The most annoying thing was that it had no digital display with the screen closed so i never knew what CD track i was on, or volume level. It worked well before it was stolen, so i bought myself another Kenwood CD player to replace it. The new kenwood hasnt given me much fuss at all. I recommend any Kenwood, because ive had nothing but good experience with them.

Re: the in dash dvd head unit?

I would recommend pioneer, I currently have the older model touchscreen dvd/tv I believe the model number is something to the affect of avh-6500, I payed about 1400 bucks for it 1.5 yeas ago but I have seen them on ebay for between 400-600 dollars now. It has given me no problems at all. It even plays my DVD-R music videos that were downloaded and ripped. People think I have satelite tv in my car because Im riding around bumping music videos on 5 tvs hehe. Anyways pioneer is the way to go, get a AVIC-N1 ya can pick one up for about 1000 bucks now which is a good price consider it has navigation as well and an input for a backup camera. If ya have any other questions feel free to ask

I recommend Eclipse DVD w/ Navigation. Worth the money.

my thoughts exactly.

Do some searching for yourself, find a couple and read the reviews and specs on them and choose which would work out best for you.
