93 accord engine problem.

Well, I've been searching through this forum a bit to find any similar problems and I haven't find anything so I decided to post and hope some of you may answer.

Anyway.. I have a '93 Accord and just today as I was driving home the engine check light came on and the car felt very weird, it was chugging a lot and was idling at about 500rpm, and it seemed as if it had no power. Stepping on the gas a bit seemed like it would do nothing, I would have to push it in a lot more than normal and the car would finally get a bit of speed. Also, at one point the engine made quite a weird sound like it was revving.

I decided to check under the hood and get the girlfriend to rev the engine a bit and its making some pretty weird noises. Sorry for the non-technical description

Oh, and I don't know if it could be related but a couple days ago.. for the first time I heard the engine squeak, like a belt was wet or something.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
