B series engine swap

this is kind of a weird question but I thought I would ask anyway, I have a 98 civ ex 4 dr with aem cai and dc sports 4-1 stainless steel header, I want to swap my engine with a b series engine and was just wondering if their is one that my intake and header will match up too and were the best place to order it would be. THANX

i don't think they will match with any of the others. cause your motor is a D series, and you want to get a Bseries. most of their stuff does not match up. but i could be wrong.

intake will fit, header will not, the d series header head flange is only about 3/4 the width it needs to be to fit on a d series...try it and you'll see the diff right away...

Thats what I thought, I figured the intake might fit because the intake manifold looks like the same on my ex as the ones I have seen on b engines. Hey thanx alot.:bandit:

the exhaust yes but depending on exhaust man you get you might need to take the car to a exhuast shop and have them extend your exhuast man my exhuast did not fit I had to add a good 4" or so to make it bolt up

but bottom line it will work in the end =)
