Adire audio subs

I was looking thru their site, trying to find their Koda midbass. When I clicked on the Tumult series, they seemed to be a higher level than the Brahma - and available in an 18". Is the tumult series really higher quality ? I might have to see if I can swing 5-6 ft^3 in the crx (if I ever get around to redoing it).

Their new line-up (which seems like it might come out within the next century...) the Tumult is made to be the mack-daddy. The Brahma still will be the small box SQ woofer is was known to be, it now sports a 2.5" VC. The tumult will be the top as far as total output is concerned, still with excellent SQ.

So, if they ever come out. Could be a great choice.

Ever checked out Stereo Integrity? Best subwoofer I've listened to, to date.

Re: Adire audio subs

that's alright, at the rate I'm going on the CRX it might be until the next century It's gonna be a complete car overhaul thing - engine/tranny swap, completely redo the interior including the stereo, paint job, etc ... I guess that's why I haven't really started.

It's cool you listen to all these subs ,,,, I need to start doing more listening while I am at these contests. The basket on the SI 15" looks a LOT like the one on the brahma

They're already out, and have been for over a month...

Still a few supply issues, they go in and out of stock, but if you were to order one now you'd have it within a couple of weeks most likely

:oints and laughs::

Shows you are a SQ guy.

They are the same. Same basket as the old XXX, SX, SE, Avalanche, Atlas, Old Brahma, New Brahma, Tumult, MT, and about 30,000 other subs outthere. Its an OE 12spoke basket.

Tumult looks awsome, they've been out, Laminated top plate and all. Kinda bland but hey, who cares if it wangs.

Re: Adire audio subs

I just wanted to let you know a few things about the tumults. First off about them being better than the brahma. The brahma was designed to be used in car audio while the tumult was more for home theater use. The brahma is their top of the line car subwoofer. The Tumult is the top of the line home theater sub.

Also as for the subs being available. Yes, they have been out for awhile. But there aren't any 18 inch tumults out yet. They will hopefully have those out in a few months.

That is just what I have heard from an authorized dealer that I know.

That's what it USED to be... but I believe they remodeled their line-up for this current model line. So, I believe the Tumults are suite for car as well now.

That would be nice. I am just wondering, but what do you think of Adire's new lineup? Do people on here like it more than the old one or less?

If that is the case I am deff. going to look into picking some of them up. I was holding off because awhile back they were saying they would only have 15's.
