92 Regal gas tank

I removed the tank to replace the fuel pump. Some of the plastic baffles were cracked/broken. Is this a problem? Is there anything wrong with a Canadian Tire replacement pump (half the price $109)as the car won't be on the road that much longer?

I replaced mine with one from canadian tire two years ago. Haven't had a problem with it.
