1990 Lumin TCC solenoid replacement
I've a 90 Lumina 3.1 that kills the engine pulling up to a stop. It will not do it unless it is good and hot. It will not do it all the time. How hard is it to change the tcc solenoid and would it hurt to drive it by unplugging the tcc connector?

Unplug it for test purposes only to confirm the problem, if you leave it off the fluid will get hot and possible damage the unit.

thats your Ignition control module, not your TCC. Spray your ICM with Brake clean when it starts doing it, and if it stops doing it for a second then you know what the problem is. you can use brake clean, or something that will make it cold. I doubt your TCC is doing it.
