I think I'd first try disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes to reset the idle learn function.

My 92 did the same thing and I found the hose to the PVC disconnected. May want to check all your hoses to see if any are leaking or disconnected. Have a good day, Rusty

I would have thought he had a leak too except the idle returns to normal when he unplugs the sensor. I guessed the computer had to learn the idle for the new sensors. Now it sounds like one of the sensors is not right. I would replace each one with the old stuff to determine which one is the problem.

3.4 idle out of control

I am having the same problem when my car is cold it idles at 5 grand then when it warms up the Idle goes from 1 to 3 or 4 grand and if you shut is off for 5 minutes and then start is back up it runs fine, I had to buy another car I am now trying to decide if this car is worth putting any time and effort into, I had plugged the pvc back into it I had changed the IAC motor and I had a plentum gasket put on it and now it runs worse. Any suggestions would sure help. It is a 92 cutlass supreme SL 3.4 liter manual 5 speed.
