The reverse lights on my 99 beetle quit working. I have good mechanical skills. Should I attemp to replace the switch myself. I have checked the fuses and their good.

Have you checked the bulbs? The switch is actually on the transmission front side i believe. Might have to remove the battery if you cant put the car in the air.

Yes, I checked the lights and at the fuse box. I don't have voltage at the fuse box so I pretty sure its the switch. i was just wondering if the were any tricks I should know about changing the switch. Thanks
