Re: Lexon window

I Think That The National Saftey Council, And The Dot, Made It Law, " No Plastic Windows In Motor Vehicles. I Know They Are Illegal In Ny.maybe Thats Why The Glass Shop Didn`t Want To Get Involved. Better Check.

They're illegal in some states, but not all. I'm not sure where though.

Nice Pic Or Bill...lol...
I Think I`d Check On The Laws In Your State Before I Installed The Lexon Window. Good Luck.

lexon window

dude I live in Illinois and my local glass shop installed it for me for only 68 bucks. To hell with the law you do to your truck what you think looks good and dont worry about what everyone else thinks. If it is illegal in Oregon who cares just dont get pulled over "which is easy to say" but if you think it would look good GO FOR IT. I DID. and it worked out great. If you cant find a shop to put it in ask for info and i can tell you how the company put mine in. they let me watch the whole thing not very tough at all.

Re: Lexon window

Your glass window is probably glued in, so what's the difference there. Do a good job and it'll look stock!

Lexan is great stuff, but does get scratchd up pretty easily.

They do make pretty good polishes though which will take most light scratches out.

They use it in Race cars, and I'm also told some armored cars because of the strength to weight ratio
