Talking any hi po mods

92 saturn sl2
2 1\2" exaust vented in front of rear tire passenger side no cat
3" cone filter on the intake (arttached directly to intake)
gutted to the max(no dash no heater assembly except heater core no rear seats no carpet no door trims you name it its gone
ignition tune up(plugs wires and coil packs)
functioning forced air induction hood scoop
low profile tires upfront (actually vast improvement in handling and acceleration)
chip for ait
check valve for the map
she was pretty quick without the weight reduction but now its gonna be a whole new ball game lol
its been awhile since i drove her last
about 2 and 1\2 years since it was on the road
had all the stuff except for the hood scoop and weight reduction then but i also hasd a butt load of stereo equip and the back seats
and im going to gut the doors so thgey are only plastic
so hopefuklly shes a quick plastic can lol
and the reason i posted this other than deciding to put it back on the road is no other performance oriented threads that i saw
what no perorman\ce for a saturn do these mods without the weight reduction and i bet youll be impressed

Re: any hi po mods

almost forgot she even spits flames
wanna hear a story

well driving down the highway i was passed by a person as i was doing 63 mph in a 55 he was flying past when i dropped a gear and hit 3rd
poof the orange bursat of flames spews out the exhaust(hence the now its passenger instead of drivers side) as the car jumped from 63 to 80 i slam 4th and glance over fnkysugnk its a sherif
lol
i let off ... so does he... i creep past 55 is somehow creeping at this moment and he pulls off to the side i pass him and he pulls out behind me stays there for abotu a good 3 minutes then he pulls along siode of me...
i look nervously at hiom and nhe floors it .....
it was hillarius he took like 3 or 4 seconds to even pass me i chuckled allthough so very nervous still i had to lol the thought of how easily i could have just smoked him it was funny
to hear the cops engine racing and his car barely accelerate ive seen grandparents with a better passing gear lol
but i got away
it was beautiful
also smoked a couple of flashy lights for about 10 miles on the highway but no where near as exciting as that was
so any good mods or war storys id love to hear them

Re: any hi po mods

the curves is where its at take a 90 at 80 and then well talk and dont forget thats a weightless down sloping 90 at that
you wanna go to the curves dont forget that weight reducytion = acceleration+ top speed + handeling
its like the ultimate chip lol
but you wanna take some turns how about i put my back seats in and throw 2 people with me to compensate for weight and then another 2 to make it even lol and yes the first other 2 make the weight equal the other 2 are to get rid of my unfair addvantage of loving tio be sideways
lol
