swap help
ok i'm still trying to pick the right engine for my swap, tryin to stick with a d series so that i can stick with my si tranny(i have a 88 si crx) can some one please tell me what all i would need to drop a d16y8, and i go with that engine what year range should i stick with? some one help

I would honestly go with a ZC, its got the same power as the y8, but its an easier swap.

Vtec is cool to have too though, what is the redline of the ZC? the d15 vtec is 7200 rpm

same as zc. the zc, y8, and z6 are all very similar as far as power. sure, the zc is an easier swap. but also consider that the z6's and y8's came out of newer cars so less sitting around, less mileage.... do what you want.

i want the y8 just cause i know parts will be easier to get but whats whould be the diffrence in the y8 and zc(what makes the zc easier?)
